Ms. Sophie Kung – 73rd generation ancestry of Confucius- Chinese National Senior Tea Specialist and International lecturer of Chinese Tea performance Ceremonies will demonstrate to 5 VERY LUCKY people The Tea Ceremony Performance. Ms. Sophie Kung will have just returned from tea performance ceremonies at Oxford in the United Kingdom to join us.

 

Mr. Joey Zhou – Tea Story and Poem – Mr. Zhou is an Event producer and founder of The Beverly Arts in Beverly Hills, California. He hosts his own TV show ” Zhouzheng Show” an independent talk show on HTTV USA reaching over 500 million viewers across the USA and China.

Chinese Opera Performance by : Sophy Wu

Sophy Wu is a world renowned Chinese opera star, actress and performance artist extraordinaire. She is the executive director of the China Philharmonic Orchestra, American Merano Cultural Performing Arts Company and is the Chairman of the Chinese Musicians Association of America, Los Angeles Opera House, along with Overseas Vietnam Opera League and the Los Angeles Heritage Cup International Art Festival. Ms. Wu was the student of Miss Wang Wenjuan, an outstanding actress of Shanghai Yue Theatre and graduated from Yue Opera School, Shengzhou, Zhejiang Province. In 1993, Sophy Wu won the Excellent Actor Award for the Jiang Zhe Hu Yue Grand Prix, is the Shanghai rap “Nanjing Road One Hundred Years” original, and won an all-round young actor New Talent Award. She attended the Los Angeles Sino-American Film Festival opening ceremony Shaoxing twice and the New Year Party at Lincoln Art Center in New York in January 2018. Ms. Wu plans and hosts the Los Angeles cultural event Happy Moon Festival Concert and is the director of the Los Angeles Eagle Flying Dragon New Year Concert Mastermind. Sophy Wu is also the concert director for the 40th anniversary of U.S.-China diplomatic relations and known as the Chinese and American cultural communicator, one of Los Angeles’ most influential Chinese representatives.

Auction of 2 tea pots (valued at $2,000 each) handmade by Mr. Yuehong Chang, the creator of the Purple Clay teapots- He is the assistant to the President of Huaxia culture and President of Intangible Cultural Heritage along with being the Chairman of Hong Kong Chinese Purple sand art association. Half the proceeds will go towards the Beverly Hills Women’s Club.
